Free storyboard template for 16:9 (1.77:1) aspect ratio films (PDF)
If you need to draw a storyboard in 16:9 (1.77:1) aspect ratio on paper, you can use this free PDF template.
This template has two DIN A4 horizontal sheets with five frames per page, ready to use, awaiting you to draw.
Boxes:

The first column indicates the number of your cuts.

The second column stands for the picture screen, where you draw or place your storyboard shots.

Last, there is a split column for your script notes: action and dialogue.
You can print it out and start drawing on paper. Another way you can use this template: open it in Photoshop, choose crop to Art Box or Crop Box in Import PDF > Page options and draw your board on a new blank layer.
